Is Pinky a cute dragon?

Eagles Mere, PA is a mellow place!

Between working on new site of mine and girlfriend I hardly have time
to even update my own blog. The horror? Anyways, this is a delayed
update on my 10 day getaway past week to Eagles Mere, a small
Pennsylvania town where Sarah's parents own a summer house. I did not
have any internet, but a break from computer was actually a good thing!

EmHighKnob1.jpg

Sunsets here are gorgeous; here is one from later the same first
night. Here we lay on top of Sarah's car and gazed at the stars. Later
we witnessed bright white heat lightning for about 2 hours, which was
something I have not seen before in my life?

EmHighKnob2.jpg

Next day was full moon and I took this awesome shot of it. Pretty isn't it?

EmFullMoon.jpg

I got to fish in a lot of lakes and caught some fish. Nothing too huge
but it was fun!

EmVitalFishingPrep.jpg

This is me feeding Draegon some cantaloupe! Mmmmm? yummy cantaloupe ;)

EmDregonCantelope.jpg

We have done a lot of hiking around the local forests and took a
number of interesting photos. Altogether there are too many to show
them all, but here are some of my most favorites. Presenting an
amazing blue fungus on a rock?

EmBlueFungus.jpg

Eagles Mere Lake has a beautiful pond with pink lilies in it. I found
lily pond to be very beautiful and definitely one of a kind sight!

EmPinkLilies1.jpg

Here is one of the prettiest and fattest caterpillars that I have ever
laid my eyes upon ;)

EmCaterpillar.jpg

Loyal Sock creek is where we splashed around and even swam around at
times. There are some huge fishies in it that I tried to
unsuccessfully catch with my bare hands?

EmCreek.jpg

Another cool looking fungus in my opinion. This is a tree fungus. And
hat's all I can say!

EmTreeFungus.jpg

Sarah taking a photo of some bugs sitting on a flower. She is a cute
little camper isn't she?

EmSarahHappyCamper.jpg

A view from an overlook point and down into the Canyon Vista. That is
some gorgeous view!

EmCanyonVista.jpg

And last but not least I was able to take a photo of turkey vulture in flight!

EmVulture1.jpg

It is nice to get away and not have internet for 10 days. Scary to
think about but nice? Well, I am back now. Updates will come more
frequently. I hope? Is anyone even reading this stuff anymore?

Orb Festival

Living with Lyme decease is freaking tough. And after some time you just may permanently end up looking something like this... God, that would suck...

OrbVital2.jpg

I have gathered up all the energy I had this weekend and we drove
almost 5 hours to attend a weekend long Orb music festival at Echo Lake

OrbStage2.jpg

Three days of nonstop music on 3 stages and camping (yes, one tick just
isn’t enough) was a really nice getaway from normality. There was a lot
to see here. Hey look, it’s an international hippie band!

OrbMusicHippies.jpg

We explored the area a bit. I fished unsuccesfully, while Sarah almost got humped by a large black dog with enormous balls. His name was Justice and he tried to eat everyone that passed except us?

OrbSarahJustice3.jpg

On about day two, after all drugs ingested by attendees a whole lot
more interesting things started happening. Here is a fine example ;)

Orb2007Nude.jpg

Sleeping in the tent hurt my butt and it got cold at night. So on day
two we drove around looking for a motel to crash in for a night. I made
sheep noises in attempt to get attention of these baby deer. They ran
for their lives…

OrbBambis.jpg

After a breakfast of fried potatoes and greasy omelet in a local diner
Sarah had to poop instantly. My wise choice of sticking to pancakes and
toast finally made sense to her. Country Inn Motel was the only place
with a room left. We took a room there. This sticker was on the
entrance to our unit. Hmm… Yee haa?

OrbPowerOfPride.jpg

We crashed and slept really well that night. Next day as we arrived
back to the festival it started raining. It was time to pack and go.
After 5 hour drive we made It back to New York. There is nothing quite
like good food and warm shower after all this. Yes, its good to be home!

Chilling on the dam!

Still being in a process of recovery from my latest mishap has
necessitated me to take it kind of easy this week. So I worked at home
and relaxed during the week and spent a quiet weekend with my girl
hanging out on a water reservoir dam ;)

NyDam01.jpg

I watched water flowing down the multiple steps! How beautiful that is,
is it not?

NyDam04.jpg

Crazy ducks or whatever they are… Suicidal… or just trying to catch
some fish to eat…

NyDam03.jpg

We climbed on top of the bridge. It was dry here, even little spider
could make a web!

NyDamSpiderWeb.jpg

Sat around, watched the water, drank some beers and ate some
sandwiches. I wished I had a fishing pole with me as Sarah spotted a
school of fishies in the reservoir. Also wished I had stayed long
enough to see the sunset. Next time perhaps… ;)

Ticks Suck...

Just got out of the hospital a few days ago. Was sick like a dog,
running 102 fever for almost a week, not knowing what was going on
inside my body. Did not seem like a typical cold or flu... No wonder,
the two days that I visited outdoors a freaking tick bites my ass!

So it turns out I got a bad case of Lyme. Lying in a hospital bed with
a tube stuck in my arm is not fun. IV antibiotics flowing through my
body, while I am bored out of my mind. Thank god, my family and my sexy
woman came to visit me or I would lose my mind for sure...

VitalHospital01.jpg

Now I am swallowing little pink (ironic, huh?) 100mg doxycycline pills
twice a day and for next 3 weeks. That will surely kill everything
inside my body. Anyways... a little setback, but I am back and on top
of things again! And no damn forest tick can hold me down ;)

Pinky Semi Healed

Pinky is doing much better. He has shed his scales and now he is a much
happier dragon. I think he is in intermediate stage of recovery right
now, but at least my arm no longer feels sore when it gets grabbed on...

PinkySemiHealed.jpg

Dj Klute is spinning at Love tonight. I just can't stop coming back to that place. It is probably one of better small, intimate and fun NYC clubs still remaining. And tonight will be one long night of bouncing around ;)

What have I been up to?

Alright, so I slacked a bit. No blogging for almost 10 days. But for a
good reason...

01InflorescenceVitalSarah.jpg

Two outdoor trance festivals back to back and a whole lot of my woman
and work in-between. My new MMO website project is coming along nicely,
Pinky has almost healed on my arm and Sarah is unquestionably the best
thing I could have asked for…

02InflorescenceVitalBeer.jpg

Hey look, crazy stoned hippies are building a colorful dance dome
behind me. It only took them about 5 hours, but by the time it was done
and decorated it looked really neat!

03InflorescenceStageBuild.jpg

Sarah’s best friend and co-worker Ana (pretend husband) was clearly not
too happy with lack of time that she has received lately with her…

04SarahSheMyWife.jpg

So this past weekend we drove Ana with us through dark woods in the
middle of nowhere to the second outdoor underground trance event. Never
in her life has poor girl been so traumatized by abundance of insects
in all the unusual places ;)

05PineBarrensRoadNight.jpg

DJ set and deco was setup in front of us right in the middle of tall
grass. Music was slamming and going strong all through the night…

06PineBarrensDjSet.jpg

Neo [trance] hippies ate their magic mushrooms, danced and rejoiced!

07PineBarrensDancerGirl01.jpg

I smoked a little, took a whole lot of pictures and hung out by the
fire circle…

08PineBarrensCampfire.jpg

In the morning we woke up and drove back. Tired but definitely
fulfilled. This week will consist of a whole lot of working [read
playing MMO’s] and catching up on some chores and meeting up with a few
friends that I have abandoned lately. And I will yet again try my
absolute bestest not to slack when it comes to such serious thing as
blogging my exciting life ;)

Pinky Is Alive!

After considering a tattoo for over 10 years I finally gave in to myself…

PinkyDay1.jpg

Pinky took nearly 3 hours to complete. My arm burns and just feels like its going to fall off, but I guess that is just the sacrifice we sometimes have to make to have cute dragons permanently residing on our bodies ;)

Week End

The rest of the weekend was spent with Sarah. Miraculously, we managed
to allocate some time to not only to partying but also to some
productive activities like hiking. Hmmm, can you hear me now?!?

VitalPhoneWoods.jpg

Muffin amazed by a toad! The look on his confused face is priceless ;)

MuffinToad.jpg

And some more of lovable Muffins… First time ever in his life he has
seen such a large animal. As he was getting closer to it I got a little
worried. Is he thinking of it as a giant dog? I surely hope he does not
try anything funny and gets kicked in his sweet face!

MuffinHorsie.jpg

We went back to NYC on Saturday night. Had a dinner with my family and
headed back to Love. It was really hot inside the club, so we spent
some time sitting on the floor under George Washington statue in
Washington Sq Park and talking about random things…

VitalSarahFeet.jpg

One topic I loosely recall involved discussing the potential of begging
on NYC streets with help of our pets. Attaching Sarah’s lizard to my
dogs back with scotch tape and asking for help money to surgically
separate them seemed like a good idea at the time ;)

NycStreetAngels.jpg

As we walked toward the subway at the end of our night I snapped a shot
of this New York street art on the asphalt. I love the amazing random
things you get to see in this city…
